Alton Brown

Gosh I love me some Alton Brown. I've gotten into this summertime habit of turning on the television late at night. Usually it is about the time that Good Eats airs in the wee hours of the new day. There's something about him that is terribly annoying (the "UM" and the "AH" factor, the words he utters at least a couple, um, dozen times per episode), but the good, um, outweighs the bad. He definitely satisfies the.. ah, um food geek in me.

My only complaint, um, though, is that he moves pretty fast, too fast for me to ah, um, take notes and listen at the same time. Not that um, his speed is a problem in itself, but that the rotten foodtv.com has such a ah.. shoddy website. I've got a um fast connection and those pages load rather um, ah slow and clunky. Not to mention the search is crappy. I just... I don't like the site, OK? FoodTV could have such an amazing website, chock full of, um, information. It just falls short for me. Too many roadblocks. But it does not, um... ah, stop my sweet love for Alton Brown.
